Kevin and Delma wanted to take control of their future. The move was triggered when their family home became too big and hard to manage now their own children had families of their own. They also wanted the peace of mind that comes with having a co-located residential aged care facility on the same campus. Although they live independently, they are comforted to know that help is on hand should they need it. Kevin and Thelma understand that at some stage in the future, they will need the care that can only be provided by a residential aged care facility. Put simply, they wanted this to be their last move.

After an extensive search, Kevin and Delma found Adventist Aged Care at Wahroonga, where they now live in a villa surrounded by bush. They love the bush setting because of the birds and other animals that are ever present. In fact they love it so much, that they now have friends that have followed them into the village on their recommendation. Kevin and Thelma enjoy spending time with friends around the villa, playing pool, doing puzzles and catching up for tea and cakes.

Remaining active, and enjoy tending their gardens where they grow vegetables in a patch outside their villa. They have a garden full of the most beautiful and colourful flowering plants, which they are quite rightly proud of. Being in a villa they have plenty of space which includes a a garage full of woodworking tools where Kevin makes toys for the grand kids.
